Inspired by a lifetime love of comics and vintage annuals, cheeky characters are brought to life resulting in a range of illustrations packed with humour and charm.

Risograph printing is an eco friendly printing technique using soy based inks. These cards are designed and printed in-house at Petra Boase, on FSC Certified card and are cut and creased by a small local business to reduce the carbon foot print. Each card comes in a compostable cello bag to protect the card and the planet!

Petra Boase is a collaboration between Petra and husband Russell and a small dedicated team. The pair draw on their skills in textile design and Children's book illustration. Petra's inspiration comes from her vast collection of 1950's fabrics, knick knacks, ephemera and travel while Russell loves a good vintage comic! A small Business with craft and sustainability at its heart, Petra Boase aims to bring a little bit of joy to the everyday.
